The adventures of this series start from the events in one of the episodes of the seventh season of the main story. After finding a “Lost City” working on the late ancient technology in the Pegasus Galaxy, the Stargate Command sends a team to investigate it. The Ancients were the ones who were capable of using the stargate device which allowed space jumps through wormholes. The city of Atlantis was built millions of years ago by the same race and for some reason it was left abandoned. Witty, easy-going Lt. Colonel John Sheppard (Joe Flanigan) is in charge of the military support and an international team of the best scientists they had. But all his charisma and smart talk won’t be enough when they will have to face a new race of enemies plaguing the galaxy, known under the name of Wraiths. And it doesn’t help his cause the fact that he might have- sort of – in a way – caused the awakening of said race while trying to save his crew.
An exceptionally well written science-fiction story that will keep you on edge no matter if you’re a fan of the series, or not. Amazing adventures, new peculiar races, mind-blowing discoveries and enough fire-shots and fighting situations to lose count.
