Based on the young adult book series “Rosewell High”, written by Melinda Metz and edited by Laura J. Burns, this TV show is a science fiction following the lives of a group of friends that possess powers that are ‘not-of-this world”. Max Evans (Jason Behr), Isabel Evans (Katherine Heigl) and Michael Guerin (Brendan Fehr) are truly extraterrestrial.
These three teenagers are hybrids between humans and aliens, and they are destined to save their dying race. For years they’ve been trying to keep their “gifts” secret but everything changed when one of them stepped out of line after an accident. Liz Parker (Shiry Appleby) a classmate of Max’s and also his crush, is being shot in the stomach, caught in the middle of a fight between two costumers at the restaurant where she worked as a waitress.
Max decided then to risk his identity by healing her. Smart Liz, and science orientated, she becomes the main narrator of the series, the protagonist which guides the audience through the destiny of the three aliens in defeating their enemies and return to their home to rescue their race.
