This story begins is a land of warriors and wizards. The Legend of The Seeker is based on the fantasy world created by the author Terry Goodkind in his books of ‘The Sword of Truth.’

The world is known to be separated in three large territories: The Westlands, The Midlands and D’Hara. Our story starts with a war when the ruler of D’Hara, Darken Rahl (Craig Parker) invades Midlands, the cradle of magic. The growing power of Rahl can be defeated only by the prophecy, the Seeker of Truth. But this prophecy reaches Rahl himself and he’ll do whatever it takes to stop it from happening. Terrified, he gives order for every first-born child in Brennidon to be killed. But one of the Wizards of the First Order, Zeddicus Zu’l Zorander (played by Bruce Spence) will save him and shelter him from certain death. Once the boy is revealed to be the Keeper of Truth and will be ready to fulfill his prophecy, Zed will swear to protect him at the cost of his life. By fate he is linked with Kahlan Amnell (Bridget Regan) together with the Mother Confessor and the Warrior Cara Mason (Tabrett Bethell).

Richard Cypher (Craig Homer) now known as The Seeker of Truth has the courage to take upon him his faith and stop the terror and tyranny of Rahl but this road will unveil a bigger and more heavy truth about the nature of who he is, and that alone might prove to be the hardest challenge that he will have to face.
