The executive producers of the show are Steven Spielberg, Mickey Fisher, Justin Falvey, Greg Walker, Brooklyn Weaver and Darryl Frank. The series is focused on Molly Woods, portrayed by Halle Berry, a woman astronaut with an International Space Exploration Agency job, who is assigned a solo mission abroad Seraphim, a space station.
When she returns home to her engineer husband and their android son whom he had created, she surprisingly becomes pregnant and starts to ask herself questions about their lives meanings and missions on Earth and in space.
The reason she’s pregnant is, apparently, that she saw her ex boyfriend while she travelled in space. Now she and her husband, Dr. John Woods, have to solve their problems and decide what is best for their family.
